Dr. Mohammed Ismail

Dr. Mohammed Ismail is a Junior Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Engineering Unit of OE Division, NSRIC. He is also the HR Manager-ENG Unit and a Deputy Country Manager (Marketing) – Canada. Dr. Ismail earned his PhD, MASc, and MEng degrees, all in Mechanical Engineering from University of Windsor, Windsor, ON, Canada. He obtained BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh. Dr. Ismail has been working as a postdoctoral fellow on a new project development in the Department of Mechanical Automotive and Materials Engineering (MAME) at the University of Windsor. He initiated a high productive collaboration with six masters and doctoral students that led to the development of a state-of-the-art multi-fluid experimental setup in the Thermal Management Research Laboratory (TMRL) at the University of Windsor. His research interests include heat transfer, minichannel heat exchanger (MICHX), nanofluid, low GWP refrigerant and HVAC&R. Dr. Ismail introduced the simultaneous MICHX module in place of the conventional sequential flat tube heat exchanger module as a benchmark. The outcomes of his research resulted in 22 (twenty-two) peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. In addition, Dr. Ismail has more than 12 (twelve) years of industrial experience in different manufacturing companies in Asia and North America. Dr. Ismail is also a great leader and organizer. In recognition of his excellent academic, research, and leadership contribution, he was awarded prestigious Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS), Doctoral Entrance Scholarship, and Postgraduate Tuition Waiver Scholarship.
