Mr. Kh Faisal is the Lecturer in area of Mechanical Engineering at Engineering Unit of OE Division, NSRIC. He obtained his MESc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario (UWO), Canada. His research is focused on fluid mechanics. Mr. Faisal has received GTA Research Contribution Award while pursuing his MESc in Mechanical Engineering from UWO. He also received Chancellor’s Gold Medal from the President of Bangladesh for his distinguishing result in MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST). He was awarded the “MIST Merit-based Scholarship” in all academic years while pursuing his BSc. He was named in various prestigious lists (e.g., MIST Commandant’s List-2011, MIST Dean’s List – 2012). Before joining NSRIC, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at (MIST) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. There, he performed various academic and administrative responsibilities. He has more than 7 years of teaching and research experience in various engineering universities (MIST, UWO).
Mr. Faisal participated in various international competitions (SAE Aero Design West (Fort Worth, TX), USA, International UAV Competition, Turkey, etc.) in the role of Faculty Advisor and secured prestigious positions. His research works were presented in more than 25 international conferences and authored/co-authored 5 research articles.
