Dr. Irwan Khalis is the is the Professor of Practice in area of Finance at Commerce and Management Unit of OE Division, NSRIC. Dr. Khalis is an entrepreneur from beginning of his career since 1993. He is starting his own company as president and doing his business in architectural works design. He started collaborate with foreign company with ABCP, a Canadian Architectural firm from Quebec Canada. He also got Master degree in Property Finance to enhance his capacity in property and development businesses that still related with his background as architect. In beginning 2000 he started development and diverse his group of company namely ITQONIGROUP. This Property and Development group of companies collaborates with several investor from abroad including from Malaysia and Saudi Arabia. He also studied as Master Degree student for Islamic And Economics Finance, in university of Indonesia and learning how to finance with Islamic ways to manage his partnership with Islamic fund that coming from middle east countries and Islamic banking institutions. Some developments for housing and with government related business has been done and located in Jakarta. He also well known as one of developer that focuses for revitalize the wet market; traditional market in several cities in Indonesia. Indonesia has 8000 wet market spreading in 525 cities which manage almost 12 million lots that doing daily retail business at bottom of economic of distribution and selling daily need of people in urban and rural area.
Currently, he is doing private and public partnership to manage a mixed use development combining revitalization of traditional market and develop of low cost housing in its tower located in Jakarta, capital of Indonesia.
